Questions
Who pays, and who needs a seat?
The team lead subscribes. The plan includes 15 people: the lead plus 14 team members the lead adds by e-mail. Team members sign in with their own account and don't pay.
How does the free trial work?
Create your account, confirm your e-mail, then press Start my 3-day free trial. It lasts exactly 72 hours for you and up to 14 team members you add. No card is needed and nothing is charged; when it ends, your projects stay on your devices to view, back up and export, and you can subscribe any time to keep editing and syncing.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel any time from the billing portal. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and your projects stay on your devices.
Does it really work without internet?
Yes. After the first visit, the app opens, saves and exports with no connection at all. Changes sync with your team when you're back online.
Can Show-Spec read my budgets or crew details?
No. Project content is encrypted on your devices before anything is sent. Our servers store and relay encrypted data and can't decrypt it.
What happens if I lose my phone?
Restore from your encrypted backup and recovery kit onto a new device. Keep the recovery kit somewhere safe: without it, nobody (including us) can unlock your projects.
Is there an iPhone app?
The web app works in Safari today, and there is an Android app. A native iPhone app is planned.
